Sitting inside on a rainy day, like today, is never fun! Especially when you enjoy the sunshine or the freeing nature of the outdoors! On early wet, spring days like today, I love to be on my couch, under a cozy blanket with a good book or an entertaining film, such as the wine friendly, "French Kiss."
It's days like this that make me question, "red or white?" During the cold winter months, I like to enjoy the spice and oak of a deep red wine. Fero's Pinot Noir has the power to warm the winter chills down deep. Then come spring or summer, I feel the pull of a strong white! I desire a white wine that refreshes the senses and introduces the sun to my taste-buds. Generally, I gravitate towards Fero's award winning Pinot Gris or Gruner Veltliner once we "spring forward," but today I can't make up my mind! Therefore, I resolve myself to the Pinot Noir Rose! Fero's Rose offers that punch of red while also gifting me the spark of white through a touch of Pinot Gris. Served chilled, I find that Fero's Rose reaches all ends of the spectrum and quenches my thirst for the in-between. For you sweet drinkers, I would recommend the Sweet Blush. This option is also a blend of a red Pinot Noir grape and the white, ever so popular Cayuga, grape and offers the medium for those unsure of the "red or white" debacle.
Tonight, I will enjoy the Rose with a good burger and a side of steamed veggies! Then I will finish my glass on the couch, under my cozy blanket with my good book or movie!
What would your choose? Red or White? Does it matter?
